SEO Analytics (Google Search Console Integration)

For our "SEO Analytics" feature, Frase integrates with Google Search Console (GSC) to pull in SEO data related to the domains of your GSC account. This allows for monitoring existing pages and identifying potential optimization opportunities.

On the Basic plan, one domain can be accessed. On the Team plan, unlimited domains can be accessed.

To set it up, first navigate to the "SEO Analytics" tab and click the "Integrate Google Search Console" button and sign into the account you wish to integrate.

Queries, pages and clusters

There are a few sections that sort the table under the graph: “Queries”, which shows queries that pages from the domain are ranking for, and “Pages” which show the pages ranking for those queries.

The third tab, “Clusters”, will group the queries together under a main bolded label with a few aggregate KPI metrics.

For the "Queries" tab, there is a search bar to filter queries, but for both "Query" and "Page" filtering abilities, those can be accessed from the top right (screenshot below).

Statuses

A vital piece to SEO Analytics is the "All Pages" or "All Queries" dropdown, which will present various statuses that define positional ranking and movement in Google.

Here is a list of the statuses:
  • Top Result: Position is 1-10 and has not recently experienced ranking loss
  • Quick Win: Achieved 1-10 position within 3 months from publishing
  • Ranked: Generating clicks, but no leading avg. position
  • Decay: Lost more than 2 positions and clicks decreased
  • Opportunity: Position is 10-50, but impressions are growing fast
  • Unranked: No clicks generated, and weak position
